As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sr. People Operations Manager to join our Human Capital Team and lead the development and implementation of innovative HR solutions.
The Sr. People Operations Manager will be a hands-on leader with the ability to navigate both strategic and tactical work. This role is crucial in enhancing and implementing HR processes and integrations with other business units . Key focus areas include designing and implementing people processes and tools, ensuring best-in-class operations, and executing and tracking people priorities to engage our employees and enable high-impact work.
Key ResponsibilitiesHRIS & Process Improvement:
  • Build and own the delivery of People Services infrastructure, processes, and programs to support the growing team and the company’s strategic goals.
  • Customize and optimize HRIS platforms to align with HR processes and objectives, including configuring workflows, creating custom fields, and implementing additional modules.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness across geographic areas, including managing the compliance calendar.
Compliance & Data Insights
  • Oversee compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees regarding HR processes, systems, and policies.
  • Oversee data security protocols and compliance requirements for data collection, storage, and access, following best practices and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Create and monitor metrics that evaluate initiatives and programs to ensure a data-driven approach to effectiveness; use data to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Automate recurring reports and ensure scheduled delivery to relevant stakeholders, reducing manual efforts and improving data accessibility.
Payroll Oversight
  • Oversee the payroll team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and IT, to ensure integration and alignment of payroll processes with other business systems and workflows.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll data through regular audits and reconciliation processes.
Project Management
  • Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to identify project priorities, scope, and objectives, leveraging project management methodologies and tools.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to HR projects, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Graduate degree preferred.
  • HR Certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong experience in compliance, HR systems, and analytics.
  • Proven experience in HRIS administration, preferably with proficiency in systems such as Workday and/or Paycom.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks related to HR.
  • Experience managing RFP processes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to coach and develop team members, foster collaboration, and lead change initiative s.
LOCATIONThis position is open to individuals located in Central Time Zone (CST), preferably in Oklahoma near our Oklahoma City office to report on a hybrid basis. Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States.

CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $95,000 - $135,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
