SUMMARY: Performs selected treatments, diagnostic procedures and triage of patients in Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine setting. Receives incoming patients and telephone calls utilizing good customer service skill; registers patients. Escorts patients to treatment rooms, lab testing or X-ray. Interviews, gathers and records patient information as needed. Provides patient care including: acute injuries, physicals and screening through: administering drug screens, audio testing, simple X-ray exam, completing a variety of CLIA waived lab work, injections and assisting physician, NP/PA, MA or Rad Tech as needed. Discharges patients and checks charts for accuracy.
Required Experience: Minimum one (1) year physician office experience
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Missouri Practical Nursing license; BLS
Preferred Experience: Occupational medicine and/or ambulatory clinic or orthopedic experience
