Description

Position Summary: This position performs a wide variety of routine and non-routine duties, some of which may be of a confidential nature, including administrative and clerical functions necessary to support the operation of the Campus ministry.

Ministry Department: Multisite

Position Reports To: Campus Pastor

Hours: This is a 16-hour/week position. Attendance at all Sunday and mid-week services, special events, and staff meetings are required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Follow up with administrative needs as directed by the Campus Pastor and local staff.

2. Collects all weekly and special event attendance and decisions across the campus and reports it to the central office.

3. Processes and inputs data for connection cards, baptisms, and special events into the church database.

4. Support local campus needs through ordering supplies, answering phones, composing letters, editing documents, and scheduling meetings.

5. Assist in the planning and implementation of all ministry events and managing the campus calendar.

General Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in performing all work to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2. Faithfully maintain discretion and effectively deal with sensitive and/or confidential information of a written and spoken nature.

3. Use independent judgment to determine work priorities.

4. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.

5. Is a loyal staff member by cooperating and following the leadership of the church.

6. Follow Liberty’s policies and procedures.

7. Work in coordination with the overall mission, goals and objectives of the church which are summarized by the mission statement “Changing Lives, Communities and the World for Jesus Christ”.

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to manipulate Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher
  2. Must have excellent editing skills.
  3. Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
  4. Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  5. Ability to handle moderate stress.
  6. Three (3) years of clerical experience

Conditions and Physical Requirements:

The job will primarily be carried in an office setting and require sitting, standing, as well as bending, and carrying some moderately heavy items.
