Liberty Personnel Services is Hiring an Income Tax Provision Manager Near Philadelphia, PA

Job Details:
Income Tax Provision ManagerPhiladelphia, PA - Relocation Assistant is available
130-170,000 and Bonus
Role:Liberty Personnel is currently working with a multi-national manufacturing organization with operations in over 30 countries with a multibillion dollar market cap. They are looking to ad a Tax Provision Manager to their team to head up their global tax accounting operations. You'll be joining an expanding team both locally and regionally. This individual will be managing global income tax provisions, global taxation schemes, property tax accounting, reporting, disclosure of income taxes for SEC filings, foreign income, transaction/acquisitions, etc. You'll also be acting strategically to see what impact the provision has on different global locations / jurisdictions. This is a position that ultimately can lead to upward mobility at the Director level down the line!!
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review the consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740, including the worldwide effective tax rate, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and tax footnote.
  • Perform tax accounting, reconciliation, accrual adjustments, internal controls, etc.
  • Identify and support the implementation of process improvements
  • Maintain and improve internal controls
  • Maintain SOX compliances
  • Work with Corporate Tax, SEC / Technical Accounting, Operations, and Sales as a liaison covering all tax accounting matters
  • Work with global teams to evaluation and issues with global tax provisions
  • Work with global shared services centers to gather tax accounting information
  • Assist the Director providing tax advice and guidance on complex transactions; assist with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.
  • Provide internal and external reporting packages
  • Conduct tax research
  • Manage the OneSource system as well as all tax accounting information
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • Eight plus years of relevant tax accounting experience in public accounting or large multinational company.
  • Technical knowledge of income tax accounting standards and application of ASC 740.
  • Experience with public company financial statement audits.
  • Familiarity with One Source Tax Provision or other comparable resources.
  • Strong understanding of tax controls

Working Conditions:This position is a hybrid position with three days in the office and 2 days work remotely.
Compensation:A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including Base, Bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 401K automatic contribution, 401K match on a contribution, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, paid leave, etc.
Relocation:Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
