Summary:The Senior Project Accountant is responsible for project accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project milestones. Manage subcontractor accounting process. Provide leadership financial and accounting guidance on project planning, forecasting, budgeting.
Responsibilities:
- Assure that job cost accounting method is following the requirements of US GAAP
- Manage project ledgers, status and variances
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, for monthly close
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages
- Balance sheet review
- Prepare job close out analysis for management
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 4 years of experience in Project Accounting
- Accounting Systems experience
- Project, Job Cost background
- Microsoft Excel vlookups and pivot tables
