The Position: We are looking for a Supervisor for our Steam Plant / Electric Shop!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Steam Plant Operators and Mechanical Technicians, and Electric Shop Electrical Technicians.
• Responsible for efficient and reliable operation of Steam Plant, ground water remediation system, electrical power distribution and maintenance/repair of electrical equipment in plant general.
• Responsible for Storeroom inventory.
• Plans, schedules, and directs work assignments.
• Maintains equipment records.
• Analyzes equipment availability.
• Interface effectively with other members of supervision, personnel from other departments, and ISWA personnel.
• Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School education or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Technology preferred.
  • This preference could be satisfied by relevant apprenticeship, military training or maintenance experience.
• Electrical background required.
• Steam Plant experience preferred.
• Experience with Steel Mill equipment & processes preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

PAY RANGE: $59,400 - $74,250

DISCRETIONARY TARGET BONUS: 12%
