Key Responsibilities:The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including shredding machines, Cumberland granulators, and bucket elevators. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on shredding equipment, Cumberland granulators, and bucket elevators to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficient operation.
• Parts Replacement: Identify worn or damaged parts, order replacements, and install them as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to understand equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions.
• Training: Assist in training new maintenance staff and production operators on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably with shredding machines, Cumberland granulators, and bucket elevators.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
