The Faculty Support Coordinator provides administrative support for matters related to Residential and Online Academic & Applied Success. This position assists the residential chair, online chair, and Technical Studies with course copy, course scheduling, faculty/adjunct assignments, grade reports, attendance tracking, review of student activity, and projects to support effective and efficient operations. In addition, responsibilities include responding timely to emails in department inboxes and providing a high degree of customer service. Essential Functions and Responsibilities 30% Create reports to ensure 6-7 day grading and attendance compliance 25% Track and enter weekly grades and attendance for Technical Studies 15% Assist with course scheduling and faculty assignments 15% Ensure course master shells are correct before conducting course copy 15% Other projects as needed to provide effective and efficient operations Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies A bachelor's degree, strong administrative skills, and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Canvas, and Blackboard required. A master's degree, 5 years' administrative experience, institutional knowledge of Liberty, and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously preferred. Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly required to lift 10 or fewer pounds.Proof of a valid Virginia driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
