Job Title: Order to Cash (O2C) Data Architect

Location :Onsite Houston, Texas

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Order to Cash (O2C) Data Architect to design and manage the data architecture for our O2C processes across multiple applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of O2C processes, data management, and integration strategies. This role will be responsible for ensuring data consistency, integrity, and availability across various systems, enabling seamless O2C operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture and Management

• Design, develop, and maintain the O2C data architecture across multiple applications, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise data architecture.
• Develop and enforce data management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Integration and Interoperability

• Design and implement data integration solutions to facilitate seamless data flow between different applications involved in the O2C process.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define and implement data exchange protocols, APIs, and middleware solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party data solutions and services as needed.

Data Modeling and Analysis

• Create and maintain logical and physical data models for O2C processes, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize data flows and processes to enhance performance and reduce redundancy.
• Provide data analytics and reporting solutions to support business decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during the implementation of O2C solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and technical staff on data-related best practices and tools.

• Lead data architecture projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for data architecture initiatives.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles.
• Proven experience with O2C processes and systems in a multi-application environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies such as ETL, ESB, APIs, and data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related data services.
• Knowledge of data security practices and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.

• Certification in data management or architecture (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
