The License Center is a privately owned office located in East Grand Forks MN that processes applications for MN Driver and Vehicle Services and MN DNR. The License Clerk is responsible for providing direct customer service face to face and by telephone to a diverse customer service base. License clerks, review necessary documents, prepares and processes Minnesota ID and Driver's License applications. They renew registration and complete title transfers by creating records for motor vehicles, and recreational vehicles. The License clerk responds to public inquiries and requests for information in a proficient and accurate manner as governed by the state of Minnesota. They collect payment and issue correct licenses to the public. Previous experience with proofing documents is desired. Do you love 'Find the differences' puzzles? Attention to detail is key to this position.
Minimum requirements are:
Experience with data processing, 45wpm typing speed, 6500ksh 10-key speed.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task under high-pressure
Must be able to prove US Citizenship and be able to pass a BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) background check
Evaluations are completed after a 3 month trial period, and periodically after that with a salary review at each.
