Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail operations. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure the store is properly stocked and merchandise is displayed attractively
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any customer issues or complaints
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Implement effective loss prevention measures to minimize theft and shrinkage
- Oversee cash register operations, including handling cash transactions and reconciling daily sales
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of retail math and inventory control principles
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing a team effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative skills for managing paperwork, scheduling, etc.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
-Ability to climb a ladder and lift 50 pounds.
- Standing required 100% of the time.
