This position is primarily responsible for office coverage Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. A variety of expected duties include but are not limited to answering and directing phone calls, organize and schedule appointments, maintain consumer and employee charts, plan meetings, write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms, develop and maintain a filing system, provide general support to visitors, act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, liaise with all levels of management to handle requests and queries from senior managers/supervisors, support and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, bill services performed via the approved system, gather and report payroll information and office coverage during hours of operation.
The interested individual should possess knowledge of office management systems and procedures, have working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines, be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, in particular) as well as other software programs. The candidate should possess the ability to learn new software at a fast pace to comply with industry standards and perform job duties.
The candidate will be responsible for error-free Payroll reporting and error-free billing of all services for the office and maintaining strict confidentiality for all information. Potential candidate must be proficient in medical billing, data entry, and Payroll reporting.
Candidate must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, pay attention to detail and problem-solving skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, fast learner, self-starter, and dependable. The candidate must possess a High School diploma (preferred Associate's Degree); additional experience in an office environment as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
