Role: As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be expected to use various searching tools and methods to generate leads, set calls, establish relationships with potential clients and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales and business development.
Duties: Must be comfortable making B2B cold calls daily generating new business Must be able to set up appointments, identify opportunities and move through the sales to close process. Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business Supports the development of network sales and services by securing appointments with new and targeted customers for account managers. Accurately and completely enter all daily activities into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Submit and review weekly prospecting reports to National Sales Manager. Develops field sales action plans. Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives Assist with development of sales presentations and proposals. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks. Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Sell the portfolio of services and trades available, to include our Industry leading all-inclusive fire protection service plan Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, sales conventions and professional development as requested. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and opportunity qualification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Business degree or related professional qualification. Work experience accepted in lieu of education. Proven experience in client relationship management Knowledge of market and research Relevant product and industry knowledge in the fire and security industry Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy
