Life Skills Preschool Home Training Tutorial Program For Pre-Schoolers, Inc.
Life Skills is a Special Education CPSE center based Preschool program servicing students throughout New York City. Our mission is to provide structure and support for children to develop to their full potential, respect the diversity and unique contributions of all, offer instruction that is individualized and developmentally appropriate, promote a child-centered, safe and supportive environment, engage parents, the community and school members in a collaborative team-approach, and to inspire a lifetime to learning. Our program seeks to provide education and related therapy to special needs children in the least restrictive environment, to better prepare them for a successful future.
Our schools are located in Westchester Square of the Bronx. Ample free street parking is available and we are located across from the 6th Train
Job Description
- Maintain student's attendance
- Review IEP and implement goals
- Insert student's daily notes on EASY TRAC & print
- Write quarterly/ annual reports & IEPs
- Attend Pre-CPSE meetings
- Evaluate and document the student's needs and plan an appropriate means for implementation
- Develop gross motor skills
- Differentiate instruction based on the needs of the students
- Develop plans and equipment that facilitate daily living skills
- Enhance functioning level in visual, auditory, sensory and perceptual performance
Job Details
-Immediate hire, Part-time-3 days per week, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
