If so, we are looking for someone like you to join our Compliance Team!
As a Compliance Manager you will...
- Work with Program and Finance staff to ensure adherence to government regulations, organizational policies, and funder contractual terms
- Oversee funder budget management, expenditure tracking, and records' maintenance
- Work closely with the Deputy of Compliance to conduct internal audits/reviews of grants, such as, review of procedures, approval verifications, document retention, etc.
- Assist in designing protocols, developing training materials, and facilitating trainings
- Supervise the Program Monitor
- Report to Deputy of Compliance
- Basic professional knowledge equivalent to Master's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting/auditing, expense tracking, and compliance management; nonprofits and/or social services agencies preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, experience with databases, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts.
- Highly meticulous, well-organized, and analytical.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Strong people skills, able to work as a member of a team, initiative-taking, honest, commitment to accuracy and thoroughness, general knowledge/comfort with financial and legal matters, appreciation of need to comply with government regulation.
- Ability to see big picture as well as attention to details.
