LifeBridge Health is Hiring a HR BUSINESS PARTNER - LEVINDALE Near Baltimore, MD

SummaryPOSITION SUMMARY: The HR Business Partner will support HR operations at Levindale. Provides exceptional service to internal and external customers visiting the HR Department at Levindale, including the Nursing client group for acute care and LTC. Embraces a diverse workforce. Understands and maintains confidentiality.
Under the mentorship of the Chief People Officer, the HRBP provides guidance to assigned client departments in the management of their employees as it relates to recruitment, benefits, HR policies, employee relations and compensation. Effectively utilizes all available HR metrics and other resources to develop recommendations and possible solutions to human resource issues affecting client departments.
The HRBP will educate, guide and advise employees towards thoughtful, successful outcomes. Serve as an advocate when necessary to ensure leaders are providing consistent and fair application of policies and procedures.
Essential FunctionsExperience in healthcare and/or union environments is preferred.
  • Attends client department team meetings on an ongoing basis.
  • Reviews HR metrics with managers to identify trends and discuss possible solutions.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Guides managers towards the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring manager conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the legal and/or compliance department as needed/required.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Confers with HR leadership regarding possible training needs for business units and/or individual executive coaching needs.
  • Presents approved HR training sessions related to client departments, at the direction of HR leader
  • Works on special projects; performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years professional HR experience; will consider 9 years of previous HR experience, include providing extensive Generalist/HR Business Partner support to assigned clients groups.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
