JOB SUMMARY
The RN is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN develops a plan on nursing care and utilizes established clinical pathways which are implemented by the care delivery team with the supervision of the RN. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, as needed, revised the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge. This RN would be at level 2 of the Clinical Ladder.
REQUIREMENTS

• Required Associate's Degree

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree

• Less than 2 years Completion of coursework of accredited nursing school. Required

• Less than 2 years Experience as RN in Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Preferred

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider

• RN - Registered Nurse

• Carroll County Health Service Corp\Carroll Hospital\Nursing\Wound Care\Wound Care Certification

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of chronic outpatient wound care and advanced wound care treatment modalities preferred Knowledge of Wound Vac, casting and tissue grafts are preferred Knowledge of Hyperbaric Therapy is preferred Wound Certification (WCC, CWS, CWOCN, etc) Required after 2 years PRN exempt
