LifeChef Health is a digital healthcare platform that improves patient outcomes with nutrition education and medically tailored meals. We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate who can uphold high standards and deliver exceptional quality to our patients.
Title: Kitchen Associate
Term of Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week), permanent placement. FLSA Status. Non-union, non-exempt employee at will
Worksite Location: 1040 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite B, Trenton, NJ 08638
Working Conditions
· Active work requires the ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, reach (including overhead), and carry standard work duties.
· Standing and walking most of the workday with occasional sitting.
· Work Hours include Monday-Friday, 10-7 pm (includes a non-compensable ½ hour lunch break).
· Hours could potentially move to a Tuesday-Wednesday and Thursday-Friday 10-hour a-day shift in the future.
· Cold-chain conditions most of the day
· PPE is provided and required to be worn.
· Portioning equipment (manual & automated) is used throughout the day.
Job Summary
The Kitchen Associate will perform a variety of cross-functional services in support of the Company’s mission. Tasks include portioning food, weighing food to ensure accuracy, following precise protocols, learning and operating machinery, and delivering customer orders.
Essential Responsibilities
Kitchen related duties:
· Following directions and precise protocols for portioning and weighing food
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Standing in cold-chain conditions much of the day.
Qualifications
· Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Warehouse &/or kitchen-related experience preferred.
· Ability to stand for up to eight hours. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 49 pounds, as well as bend, twist, kneel, and reach.
· Punctual and reliable with a passion for food!
