Title: Warehouse Associate

Term of Employment: Full time (40 hours per week), permanent placement. FLSA Status. Non-union, non-exempt employee at will

Worksite Location: 1040 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite B, Trenton, NJ 08638

Working Conditions

· Active work environment (exerting up to 49 pounds of force) requiring the ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, reach (including overhead), and carry in performance of standard work duties.

· Standing and walking the majority of the workday with occasional sitting.

· Work Hours include 7 am-6 pm Days on Monday & Thursday, 8-5pm Tuesday & Friday (includes a non-compensable ½ hour lunch break).

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of cross-functional services in support of the Company’s mission. Tasks include receiving, stocking, picking & packing, shipping, and FIFO inventory control; maintaining a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment. Candidate should be excited about the opportunity to cross-train across our Pick, Pack, Ship, Prep, and Delivery function using a company vehicle.

Essential Responsibilities

Warehouse related duties:

· Receive and sort supplier deliveries.

· Confirm accurate/complete product deliveries or identify discrepancies/shortages via Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN).

· Adhere to inventory control practices including fresh storage protocols, use-by dates, inventory rotation, etc.

· Operate packaging equipment, ensuring the integrity and appearance of food products.

· Pick and pack meal orders for common carrier shipment and local deliveries.

· Dispatch orders for pickup.

· Restock cancelled orders.

· Manage product returns using Return Management Authorization (RMA).

· Cross training

· Comply with all sanitation and safe food handling procedures, follow guidelines from the Department of Health (DOL), ServSafe, and HACCP for Food Manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

· Valid Driver’s License

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· ANSI-accredited food handler training certificate (or willingness to complete the training).

· Warehouse &/or kitchen-related experience preferred.

· Ability to stand for up to eight hours. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 49 pounds, as well as bend, twist, kneel, and reach.

· Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Punctual and reliable with a passion for food!

· Forklift certification & experience a Plus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
