LifeLine EMS is proud to present "On the Edge of Greatness," our innovative educational repayment program designed to support and invest in the future of those just getting started in Emergency Medical Services. We understand the challenges and financial burdens EMT candidates and newly certified EMTs face. This program aims to ease the financial strain, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – making a difference in your community.

Program Overview

The "On the Edge of Greatness" program is open to a diverse group of individuals at various stages of their EMT journey. Who is eligible?

- Current EMT candidates currently enrolled in school.

- Newly graduated EMT candidates.

- EMT candidates awaiting testing.

- EMT candidates who have been unsuccessful in their testing attempts.

Incentive Details

As part of this program, LifeLine EMS offers an educational stipend in the form of incentives to help cover the costs associated with EMT training programs:

- Once hired EMTs will receive a $500 incentive upon clearance from their Field Training Officer (FTO) Ride Time. This is typically a 2-week period after your first day.

- EMTs will receive an additional $500 incentive at their 90-day mark after hire.

These incentives are designed to provide financial relief and encourage the pursuit of excellence in the field of Emergency Medical Services.

What do I have to do?

EMT candidates must be licensed in the state of California to start their employment, but can be in the process during application.

In order to begin the application process for eligibility, all applicants MUST attend the EDGE program to prepare for the National Registry Exam. Once applications are reviewed, contact will be made with EDGE training option links for sign up.
