NOW FACILITIES MANAGER, Full Time, Monday - Friday - rotating on call responsibilities

Facilities Manager Responsibilities: Responsible for supervision of Building & Grounds Supervisors, project oversight, performing various semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings and equipment in LifePath program houses and office buildings/day programs

Facilities Manager Qualifications:

-At least 18 years of age

-Valid Driver's license with 3-year clean driving record

-Ability to lift 50 pounds

-3 years supervisory experience and experience in area of preventative maintenance, project oversight and repair work

-High School Diploma, Trade Certificate

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of construction projects in coordination with the appropriate Director and Business Manager.
  • Review obtained bids for projects from Buildings and Grounds supervisors with appropriate Director(s). Submit to Business Manager for review and financial approval.
  • Coordinator entering into agreements with outside contractions with Business Manager.
  • Perform approved requested repairs and equipment needs from Program/Administrative Directors.
  • Research and suggest new working relationship with outside contractors. Coordinate agreements with Business Manager.
  • Work with Building & Grounds Supervisors to determine the scope and cost of projects whether performed in-house or contracted out.
  • Work in conjunction with Compliance Department to review Safety Committee recommendations and implement as feasible.
  • Develop a schedule to ensure contracts are initiated for routine maintenance on equipment and needs of residential and office/day programs.
  • Check the maintenance request log using UPKEEP and enter information when request is completed or more work required.
  • Ensures the UPKEEP system is maintained by maintenance staff. Alert designated administrative staff of changes to building equipment, systems, projects to be entered into UPKEEP.
  • Maintain building systems records for all residential and office buildings.
  • Ensure routine maintenance on the program vehicle.
  • Supervise and lead the efforts of the Building and Grounds Supervisors.
  • Coordinate and participate with on-call rotation.
  • Identify and communicate potential projects to Directors that may be eligible for grant opportunities.
  • Understand and be able to interpret any applicable federal Commonwealth of PA, and local licensing, code enforcements, etc. Ensure LifePath functions within them.
  • Contribute to the safety and appearance of all LifePath properties.
