Shift: First Shift

POSITION OVERVIEW:
SCRAM Systems is currently seeking a full time Inventory Specialist who will manage all inventory at the Durham, NC location while assisting in reducing freight costs. This position handles shipping and receiving for all inventory in and out of the field. We work to maintain the best possible environment for our employees where people can learn and grow with the company. We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where each person feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning and culture.
Experience and Skills:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  • Fill daily orders within 24 hours of receipt
  • Receive inventory within 24 hours of receipt
  • Test returned inventory within 48 hours of receipt
  • Monitor and adjust reorder points as required to maintain inventory levels per the corporate goals and ensure we do not miss installs
  • Maintains a clean and professional staging area including warehouse space.
  • Recognizes and communicates to State Director both market and customer business conditions.
  • Participate in team activities regarding planning or improvements as required
  • Assist to minimize or reduce freight expenses

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Warehouse or inventory management experience preferred
  • Exceptional intrapersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet multiple deadlines
  • Industry product knowledge preferred
