Title: Behavioral Health Specialist, ACT

Worksite: Center Street

Hours Status: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8 hrs/day,

Pay Range: $15.87 Hourly

Brief Job Description: 

Works in conjunction with the Assertive Community Treatment team. The Behavioral Health Specialist spends extended periods of time working with individuals in the community to teach independent living skills. Works with individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders in maintaining in the community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or Human Services
• Six months experience working in a clinical or mental health setting (may include internship hours).
• Genuine interest and experience in working with individuals with psychological disorders.
• Valid Driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Successful completion of the State approved Community Support Associate training within 6 months of hire.
