**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Assistant to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring the quality of our products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience with power tools and hand tools. **Responsibilities** - Assist with the assembly line process, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. - Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse. - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery. - Fabricate and assemble parts and products according to specifications. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. - Work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. - Monitor and report on the condition of equipment and machinery. - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks. **Qualifications** - Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools. - Experience with forklift operation and safety procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. - Familiarity with assembly line processes and product manufacturing. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. - High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
