The successful candidate will (1) write beautifully, (2) edit with a keen eye for detail, (3) have an advanced grasp of Christian theology and biblical exegesis, and (4) exhibit strong leadership skills. The writer/editor will write and edit for all stages of our publications for Sunday school and small group Bible studies.

Responsibilities

• Write content for LifeStone publications (including for Sunday school classes of all ages, small group Bible studies, etc.).
• Edit written materials at all stages of production (content editing, copy editing, and proofreading).
• Ensure biblical/theological accuracy and adherence to the Chicago Manual of Style and in-house style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or related field OR Biblical Studies or related field
• Proven experience in editing and writing
• Excellent grasp of Christian theology and biblical exegesis
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership skills
