JOB SUMMARY: This Lead Residential Specialist position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Phoenix House Group Home/Supervised Apartments/Our Turning Point Ranch. It requires involvement in the rehabilitation of clients and the supervision of all staff within the facility.

COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Motivation (KSAM) required for an employee to be successful.
PERSONAL QUALITIES: It is mandatory that this employee be empathetic, respectful and treat clients and staff with dignity. Initiative, accuracy and dependability are crucial. Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision. Must be willing and able to advocate for client’s rights. Must be able to provide leadership and guidance for staff.
SPECIAL FACTORS: Must be capable of obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class “C” or higher). Maintains on-going communication and consultation with Supervisor in relation to the day to day operations and/or crisis as they arise. Collaborates with the treatment team of Phoenix House. Works with clients to develop client needs assessments and treatment plan development and implementation. Supervises the activities of all staff including participation in hiring, training, evaluation, scheduling assignments and establishing priorities.
JUDGMENT/DECISION MAKING: Utilizes established corporate policies and procedures in making decisions. Uses sound judgment in meeting the responsibilities and performing the duties of the position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
