LifeStream Behavioral Heath Center is Hiring a Program Services Manager - YAFR 063 Near Leesburg, FL

LifeStream is a behavioral health and social services organization that provides high-quality treatment, education, care management, rehabilitation, child welfare, primary care and homeless services to children, adolescents, and adults. Located in Central Florida, LifeStream primarily serves the residents of Lake, Citrus and Sumter Counties, with additional programs located in Orange, Marion, Hernando counties.

Youth and Family Recovery Program (YAFR)- YAFR provides services to youth who are abusing primarily marijuana and alcohol and who would be appropriate for an outpatient level of care. Treatment involves individual sessions with the youth, as well as 4 sessions with the family and/or caregiver. The principle behind the model is to connect youth with positive community activities to discourage substance use and reinforce healthy recreational interests and peer groups.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated Program Services Manager. The Program Services Manager establishes, administers, and directs the operations of the assigned program. The program Services Manager assumes program oversight responsibility for providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses, co-occurring SA disorders and criminal justice involvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification with or without accommodation.   • Supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to consumers
  • Functions as a practicing clinician on the team as needed and must be strongly partnered with County partners
  • Coordinates and schedules services rendered by the staff
  • Performs all fiscal management/accounting functions of the facility/program as assigned
  • Maintains current records, logs and statistical reports for program
  • Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the program including scheduling staff work hours to assure appropriate coverage for day and evening and on-call hours
  • Lead the daily organizational staff meetings and recovery planning meetings
  • Continuously evaluate the status of consumers and do appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs
  • Direct and coordinate the admission process and treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program in coordination with the psychiatrist
  • Coordinate screening and intake processes develop and coordinate the initial assessment and initial treatment plan
  • Assign the most appropriate staff to the individual treatment team and provide clinical supervision of the development of the comprehensive assessment and the treatment plan for everyone
  • Direct and coordinate, for each individual, the comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history (e.g., onset, course and effect of illness, past treatment and responses, and risk behaviors), mental status, and diagnosis; physical health and dental health; use of drugs or alcohol; education and employment; social development and functioning; activities of daily living (e.g.,

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education

Master’s degree in nursing, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, counseling or psychology, or is a psychiatrist field required.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with the severe and persistent mental illness population required

Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience required

Must be Over the age of 21 required

Minimum of 5-years driving experience required

Possess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue required

Safe Driving record required
