What You Will Do Here
- Create and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehousing.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format.
- Build and maintain data models to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the data. Manage database performance, security, and integrity.
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into a usable form for business analysis.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data used for analysis. Implement data governance policies and practices.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics, and data visualization to improve our BI capabilities continuously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- 5 or more years experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist.
- Strong knowledge of BI tools and software such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
- Expertise in database management and data modeling, with a strong command of SQL, SQL troubleshooting, and SQL performance techniques
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- A strong desire to learn new approaches and technologies related to data modeling, data handling and data presentation
