Provide leadership and strong dedication to developing and delivering evidence-based services and support for individuals with mental illness and individuals with co-occurring disorders.

• Provides timely and accurate reports regarding program and staff performance measures

• Assist staff with their professional development planning, provide timely and constructive feedback, as well as conduct performance evaluation as scheduled
• Hiring and training of assigned counseling and supportive positions in the adult services program
• Provides minimum of one-hour per month group supervision with staff and minimum one-hour per month individual supervision with staff

Observe treatment including individual and group and gives constructive feedback to improve their ability provide treatment as well as assure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation

• Write/accesses/reviews comprehensive reports each month to include file review, face time with each assigned staff member, and the treatment observed. Provide any information deemed noteworthy and trainings attended by clinicians

Required:

• Clinical supervisors in mental health programs must meet the State of Oregon’s Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) requirements which include having completed two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a behavioral health/mental health, and/or alcohol and drug counseling setting
• Knowledge of regulations, board requirements, laws governing mental health including current OAR’s, addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and other related areas
• Must be registered with the state licensing board and hold a valid independent clinical license within the state of Oregon or must be able to obtain independent clinical licensing within 6 months of hire.
