Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for providing solution-based sales strategies to grow business with new and existing customers. You will have the opportunity to generate new business across all product lines within an assigned geographic territory.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs

· Collaborate with sales team, including other account managers, coordinators, and sales managers to achieve business goals

· Plan and manage the assigned territory to maximize potential revenue

· Build and foster meaningful business relationships

· Ensure high quality customer satisfaction and retention

· Incorporate all applicable sales strategies, programs, and other marketing tools (e.g. cold calling, prospecting, networking, and market knowledge)

· Submit weekly/monthly reports, including call logs for prospects and existing customers

· Submit timely and accurate forecasting, proposals, order write-ups, and required paperwork

· Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong sales and customer service skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

· Must be able to safely operate forklifts and other equipment

· Must have a valid driver’s license

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma

· 2 years of sales experience strongly preferred

· Prior experience within the material handling industry preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, up to 50 pounds on occasion.

· Must be able to work safely in areas with potential exposure to cold/hot temperatures, noise pollution, dust, solvents, fuels, and battery acid.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
