LIG Marine Managers is Hiring an Administrative Associate Near Saint Petersburg, FL

We are looking for an organized, efficient, full-time Administrative Support Coordinator. You’ll be responsible for learning and understanding our processes and communicating with clients and coworkers. As a Coordinator, you’re responsible for providing rapid and courteous service. The position requires you to have strong computer software skills and demonstrate your ability to understand concepts quickly. Key indicators of success in this role are low error rates and improved service metrics through prioritization, handling, and updating client service requests. You should be results-oriented and hold yourself accountable for the task at hand.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and maintain electronic policy files.
  • Find and transpose information from multiple document types into a single formal pdf document.
  • Administrative Support on special projects as needed.
  • Organize company documents into updated filing systems.
  • Email correspondence to clients and fellow team members.
  • Send documents to clients.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Research for and update information in the company database.

Skills You’ll Have

  • College degree or high school diploma combined with 2 years’ professional work experience
  • Able to think on your feet to manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Able to organize and prioritize independently
  • Excellent time management with the ability to plan your workday accordingly with daily tasks and expectations.
  • Effective verbal and email communication with coworkers and clients
  • Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Intermediate level of skill with office equipment including copiers, computers, and phones
  • Able to deliver a high level of customer service to clients via email and phone.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
