LightEdge Solutions is Hiring a Service Delivery Project Manager Near Kansas, MO

As a Service Delivery Project Manager, they would work with the technical teams on projects ranging from website migrations to website development. Project managers are pro-active when identifying and resolving potential blockers and day-to-day problems. The Service Delivery Project Manager is responsible for managing Client and Team expectations throughout the project - from technical discovery, translation of Client requirements into scope requirements, to project planning, through to implementation, performing internal quality control and bringing the project to successful completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.
  • Maintain All Project Documentation (project plan, RAID Log, Checklists, budget baselines, schedule baselines, stakeholder register, etc.)
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Schedule & lead kick off call (both internal and external)
  • Schedule & Facilitate Discovery sessions for planning
  • Schedule & lead status calls with Internal and External Project Team
  • Schedule & lead stakeholder updates (either weekly status call or written status report)
  • Setup and maintain project portal for ongoing project coordination 
  • Report on project budget and submit time sheets as needed
  • Follow-up with internal and external task owners to ensure timelines are met
  • Schedule & Lead Project Closure Call
  • Maintain project document repository and ensure proper access to various project team members.
  • Ensure deliverables provided meet company standards and meet the project requirements.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Experience:
  • Strong meeting facilitation, customer service, and team communication skills.
  • Organized, with a strong attention of detail, able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work across cultural and language boundaries.
  • Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to assist in some problem determination and escalation.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Experience working in a Client-facing, IT/hosting/website development environment.
  • A level of web application development and/or design experience a plus. Knowledge of CMS/E-commerce platforms, such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento, preferred. Migration services knowledge a plus.
  • 2 to 4 year project management experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel.
  • SmartSheet and Confluence experience is a plus.
  • PMP Certified is preferred
