Summary: The Regional Director is a key leadership position responsible for the oversight, management, and growth of ABA programs and services within their designated region. This role involves leading a team of ABA professionals ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, adhering to best practices in ABA therapy, and managing center capacities through productive enrollment practices.

Requirements:Position Overview
  • Oversight and management of each assigned buildings’ caseload capacities, proper and efficient utilization of authorization hours provided by payors by all behavior analysts, appropriately pacing intake evaluations, monitoring of waitlist for new enrollment, ensuring appropriate discharge planning, and overall center efficiencies as they relate to daily operations, staffing/hiring, maintenance, center budgeting, etc.
  • RD will not be required to meet a targeted number of consultation hours billed per week/month, or maintain a caseload of assigned learners, unless filling in for someone on their team(s).
  • Required schedule/travel: RDs are required to be accessible to both their direct report teams and the executive team as needed. This might include responding to emails or phone calls on the weekend or in the evenings, and emergencies during time off.
  • Travel between buildings should be expected as needed to support the teams; this may vary depending on the need/experience of your centers/region. Travel will be reimbursed between buildings at LAC flat rate, with “home center” being the considered the home base.
  • This role may include longer commutes to different locations during a transitional phase in acquisitions.
Mentorship Of Direct Reports:
  • Conduct regular weekly meetings with CD and/or Sr CD direct reports to review clinical updates, status of the building, performance of all clinical staff, staffing concerns, etc.
  • Support and mentor all levels of direct reports in training of new staff and development of new training protocols, procedures and efficient center operations/systems.
  • Attend necessary conferences and other professional development seminars, not just from a personal growth perspective but for team development opportunities.
  • Supervise, support, and coordinate apprentice and direct supervision program participants.
  • Includes contracts, performance reviews, goal development.
  • Future planning for promotion of supervisees with Sr Director of Clinical Operations
  • Effectively communicate and implement new policies and/or changes to your buildings.
Learner And Family Engagement:
  • Supervise clinical programming audits of program managers at all levels as needed.
  • Supervise insurance reports are being completed to LAC standards for all learners and submitted according to authorization deadlines as needed.
  • Monitor supervision of Jr PM and support BCBA staff as needed.
Capacity Planning:
  • Communication with Senior Director of Clinical Operations on learner status in regards to enrollment for learners under region.
  • Assist CD/Sr CD/PMs with conducting initial assessments and/or initial parent intakes as needed and coordinates intake of new clients for respective buildings to maintain capacity per building as indicated by budget and forecast.
  • Mentor transitions out of LAC to least restrictive environment in advance.
Stakeholder Relations:
  • Communicate with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate hiring efforts and needs with TA team.
  • Supervise development of performance improvement plans and/or other disciplinary interventions with CD/Sr CD and HR department.
  • Approve and monitor budget and events for staff appreciation with CD/Sr CD and purchasing team.
  • Monitor and approve purchasing requests from CAs/CD/Sr CD related to monthly center budget spending and purchasing department.
  • Facilitate quarterly monthly clinic audits for maintenance upkeep and communicate building maintenance needs with Director of Facilities during monthly meetings or as needed.
  • Participate in quarterly internal compliance audits and supervise compliance with required standards.
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree encompassing behavior analytic content.
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
  • Eligible to provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
  • 5 years of experience in ABA field, working with a variety of ages.
  • 5 years management/supervision experience
  • Demonstrates exemplary leadership, mentoring, organization, clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Completely independent with ABA programming and implementing evidence based intervention strategies
  • Mastery of all responsibilities within the Clinical Director job description.
  • Able to communicate expressively and receptively for all responsibilities within the job role.
Salary Description
Up to $100,000 monthly bonus opportunities
