Senior Data Scientist at Limetree, LLC. (Preference for Dallas, TX, based candidates with remote an option)
Limetree is a behavioral marketing company with a goal to create solutions that unite data and behavioral science to define the new standard in marketing performance. Limetree is looking to expand our team with a product-centered Senior Data Scientist to help us extract human insights from data…insights that inform the communications that go to our clients for marketing, retention, and other communication. We expect our data scientists to challenge themselves to unlock data supporting great marketing (the who and the when) – that supports and enhances great creative (the what). We deliver creative that uses science, not guesswork, to get and improve results.

Responsibilities
- Take over, extend, and enhance market management models such as creative matching, explanatory analysis, and prospect targeting
- Contribute to the linking of behavioral marketing features through new and existing model improvement
- Actively assist with and champion the movement of mature models into our Goldminer™ framework for production model execution
- Explain insights, outcomes, and model performance to clients on a regular (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) basis
- Provide performance measurement and feedback on customer retention campaigns
- Build models in such a way that they are repeatable, pre-production prototypes
- Interpret and analyze business opportunities and problems with data
- Test performance of data-driven actions
- Create and build predictive models and analytic systems
- Evaluate data sources and include analysis for performance impact
- Create actionable insight reports supported with data visuals
- 2-4 Years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
- Current Python 3 and git experience (you will be working in Python daily and via the Limetree platform, meshing your work with that of your teammates)
- Familiarity with scaled distributed big data tools such as Apache Spark and PySpark (Databricks is our destination compute service)
- Experience building, assessing, explaining, and monitoring predictive models
- BS or strong background in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Have a good work ethic, a desire to be efficient, learn and be challenged, and be self-driven and motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency with SQL and Relational Databases like Snowflake or PostgreSQL
- Experience working with public and private data sets
- Testing with PyTest
