Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the PM Tech is responsible for performing all duties regarding preventive maintenance on machinery within the plants.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines per directions given by Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
• Assist maintenance in other areas as directed; including but not limited to:
• Changing and refilling coolant in CNC machines.
• pH balance of coolant to avoid rust or damage to the parts.
• Wiping down the machines, windows, and parts of the machine
• Cleaning and mopping areas where coolant leaks are prevalent with machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

· This position is on the manufacturing production area, which may include seasonally hot and humid conditions, dust, noise, and other elements for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements:

· Standing, Walking, Reaching, Bending.

· Continual use of hands/fingers.

· Lifting, pushing pulling more than 50 pounds.

· Wearing required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, headgear with shield, steel toe shoes, and other protective equipment as required for the operation(s) being performed.

· Repetitively climb on and off mobile equipment (floor cleaner, forklift, etc.).

· Full function of body limbs.

· Corrected 20/20 vision.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position, 40-hours per week operating 3 shifts. Overtime may occur during the work week or weekends. Will be based on production. Some holidays may be required.

Travel: Travel between Indiana locations may be necessary to meet production needs.
