Job Summary: Support the culture change by analyzing the risks and by defining actions to manage these risks. Establish and implement organization policies and procedures regarding local, and federal health and safety regulations. Make regular audits to check compliance.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the EHS area
Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong safety activity.
Responsibilities:

• Ensure facility is operating in compliance with all applicable OSHA Health and Safety regulations and requirements as codified in state and federal regulations. Communicate with the leadership team.
• Facilitate / oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and closure of corrective actions. Review safety statistics, conduct trend analysis and make recommendations for continual improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective EHS management system in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspections & audits and provide corrective/prevention action plan.
• Provide new hire safety training orientation and training and education to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required Qualities/Attributes:

• Ability to analyze and resolve problems with the standard quality tools.
• Culture improvement driven.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Rigorous and exemplary focus.
• Working Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 an ISO 45001 standards is a plus.
