Job Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Property Accountant role located in Dallas, TX. The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, financial statements preparation, financial reporting, and assisting with budget preparation. The successful candidate will work with a team of accounting professionals and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong Accounting and Finance skills
- Experience preparing financial statements and journal entries
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or advanced degree in accounting or finance is a plus
- Experience with MRI preferred
- Experience in Commercial real estate industry
