Lux Middle School is hiring for a secondary special education coordinator position. In this position a special education coordinator works 191 days with 24 additional days. Position is for the 24-25 school year.
Lux is looking for a person who exhibits the following characteristics:

• Collaborative with other administrators, parents, and teachers
• Knowledgeable of Rule 51, IDEA and LPS school board policies
• Lead MDT, IEP, FBA, BIP, Manifestation and Safety Plan meetings for students
• Guide special education staff on accommodations and modifications while using the general education curriculum
• Appraise, train and communicate with special education teachers and para educators

Must hold a valid driver's license, special education degree, and qualify for a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate.
