Lincoln Savings Bank is Hiring a Deposit Operations and Payments Manager Near Waterloo, IA
Oversee policies, processes and procedures including processing of transactions, system maintenance, vendor relationships and first line of defense reviews for Deposit and Payment Operations functions for both LSB and LSBX banking activities.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the team overseeing deposit, payment, card, treasury management, and lsbx operations.
- Assure quality of service, efficiency of processes, establish and manage controls related to sound operations and risk mitigation .
- Oversee all operational aspects of ACH, wire, check and RTP payments and returns.
- Oversee all operational aspects of deposit account maintenance and end of year activities.
- Oversee all operational aspects of card management including plastic inventory, fraud controls and other critical aspects.
- Oversee all operational aspects of treasury management activities.
- Ensure bank and partners are complying with all regulations regarding payments and Nacha rules.
- Implement additional programs, changes to programs, and monitoring profitability and effectiveness of existing programs .
- Implement new and manage existing payment channels ,
- Provide oversight of Deposit and Payme nt Operations personnel to ensure processes are completed timely and in accordance with department guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for recommending, planning, implementation and control of activities designed to achieve the Deposit Operation’s long-range objectives , including, capacity planning, quality control, process improvement, regulatory compliance, internal and external customer service and development of payment operations staff.
- Responsible for the maintenance of financial records and the review of financial and regulatory reports.
- Responsible for vendor ownership of key vendors for operational processes.
- Responsible for championing change throughout the organization and providing support for necessary training needs.
- Represents Lincoln Savings Bank in a positive light in all professional duties. Including participating in civic, community, and networking events to cultivate productive relationships for Lincoln Savings Bank.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as defined by Management.
- Proven leadership and team development skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgement and solid problem solving, decision making and organizational skills
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Forward thinking and innovative regarding payments industry
- 5 years’ experience in high volume transaction institutions or related experience
- Experience with implementing new payment channels across a variety of technology partners
- AAP required with expectation to obtain APRP within 24 months
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds.
- Remain sedentary (seated) for extended periods of time.
- Work is performed in a professional office environment.
- This role uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
