Lincoln Search Consultants is Hiring a Project Superintendent- FDOT Near Orlando, FL

One of the largest civil contractors in the world. A leader in the Heavy Civil, and Site Development area. Have an immediate need for a Project Superintendent in Orlando , Fla - FDOT- Heavy Civil Roadway/Highway projects.

Job Description:

•Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors

•Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions

•Develop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public)

•Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s)

•Establish performance and production goals for project teams

•Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods

•Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations

•Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget

•Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as needed

•Implement the Company policies and procedures

•Assist with On-the-Job Training

Job Requirements:
  • At least 3-10 years previous recent heavy highway, road, construction experience
  • Medium to large heavy highway, road project experience ($20M ) is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication
Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively OSHA Competent person certification
