Objective: The Machine Operator will be responsible for preparing parts, operating plasma spray equipment for coating applications, and ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process. The role includes conducting routine maintenance, monitoring equipment, and performing tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.

Essential Functions:

Prep-Work: Prepare parts for plasma spraying, including cleaning, masking, and setting up as per specifications.

Plasma Spray Operation: Operate and monitor plasma spray equipment to apply coatings accurately and efficiently.

Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor process parameters and equipment status to maintain production output within required tolerances.

Maintenance: Perform standard maintenance on plasma spray equipment and related, to ensure optimal performance.

Quality Checks: Utilize calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements and ensure coating quality meets established standards.

Equipment Management: Keep fixtures and tools clean and ready for operation.

Support Duties: Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Safety Compliance: Work within the company's Quality and Safety System, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Education: High School Diploma.

Preferred: Post-secondary education or technical certification related to manufacturing or engineering.

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong planning and prioritization skills.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary
