As a UX researcher, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, and introduce new products. Research paramount to our organization's success. Formative research helps identify unmet needs or global problems that our product solutions can address. Iterative design research shapes initial product concepts into testable prototypes, while evaluative research fine-tunes these products for the market.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs, and engineers to create impactful products
• Develop and execute research roadmaps collaboratively
• Lead various research studies across all product development stages
• Contribute to product strategy and execution

Skills:

• Excel in both verbal and written communication, which is crucial for effective collaboration
• Ability to solve complex problems and contribute to successful project execution
• Understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work well independently and manage your time effectively
• Previous experience contributing to ongoing research initiatives
• Familiarity with Dogfooding and Fishfooding practices which involve using and testing products internally
• Extensive knowledge of collecting and analyzing data in a lab setting
• Experience working with wearable technology
• High level of expertise in consumer-oriented software

Education/Experience:

• BA/BS in a human behavior related field, human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
• 5 years of experience in related field
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
• Experience with storytelling used to get traction with various audience
• Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands
• Experience with software in communications, presence, streaming, gaming/ entertainment, and systems

Location: On-Site Seattle, WA

Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
