Line of Service: Advisory is Hiring a Deals Transformation IT Associate Near New York, NY


A career in Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct predeal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas. The IT Due Diligence team, within Delivering Deal Value, assists clients with large-scale, cross-functional business process and systems integration, separation and transformation changes. This includes Day One readiness and execution, developing and reviewing financial models for IT, synergy savings, one time costs, stranded costs, and recommending enterprise architecture, solutions and systems based on industry leading practices. You will experience the complete deal cycle, from due diligence to negotiations, Day One planning, systems integration and separation, synergy analysis, and stranded cost optimization.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in operational M&A and Divestitures, including pre-deal operational due diligence, integration and separation planning and execution, synergy and cost savings analysis, with additional knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas: Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Operations, and/or Sales and Marketing.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success related to project management, including creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative in the following:

  • Supporting one or more project work streams, organizing work to meet time and budget expectations, and keeping project leadership informed of progress and issues;
  • Building collaborative relationships, proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback, and providing clear and concise updates;
  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and oral formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts;
  • Facilitating working sessions of small to medium sized groups;
  • Demonstrating aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data; and,
  • Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and ability to ask difficult questions in a constructive manner.
