Job Description: YouthLine Team Lead
Status: Full-Time/Non-exempt, 40 hours per week
Reports to: YouthLine Managing Supervisor
Location: Portland, OR
Compensation: $22.30-23.30/hr plus full medical, dental, and vision insurance (expanded details below)
This position requires a hybrid schedule which primarily requires working in-person at the YouthLine office in Portland, Oregon from 3:30 pm – 10:30pm with 4 days being in the office. This includes 1 weekend day. The fifth day is a flex day and can be done from home.
Additional required dates: July 27th & 28th, August 11th – 16th
About the Organization: Lines for Life is a regional non-profit that is dedicated to preventing substance abuse and suicide. We offer help and hope to individuals and communities and promote mental health for all. Our work addresses a spectrum of needs that include intervention, prevention, and advocacy. We educate, train, and advocate to prevent issues of substance abuse, mental illness, and thoughts of suicide from reaching crisis levels. But when a crisis arises or support is needed, we are available 24/7/365 to intervene with personalized help.
YouthLine Team Lead Position Summary: This position will assist and mentor YouthLine Peer Helpers and Coaching Volunteers between the hours of 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM with clinical support from a Master’s level Supervisor. Ability to work a variety of days and keep a flexible schedule is preferred. YouthLine Team Leads also respond to acute crisis and referral calls and texts with care and compassion on the YouthLine and may assist in YouthLine outreach and education programs focusing on social media, community partners, and schools.

YouthLine Team Lead Compensation Package : The starting salary for this position is $22.30-23.30/hr. for individuals with Bachelor’s degrees in a related field or QMHA qualifications.
