We are currently seeking to fill the role of Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for the routine functions of the Human Resources department to support the company’s operations and ensure the company’s compliance under the supervision from the Controller.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Enforcing company policies and practices by answering employee questions and by ensuring all mandatory and necessary training has been completed.
Document, track, and review all mandatory and necessary training.
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verification.
Administers pay, benefits, and leave.
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Implements on-boarding process, employee recognition programs, evaluation process, and other necessary programming.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel) and Google Suite (e.g. Google docs), ADP Workforce Now, Trackstar
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, required.
SHRM certification, preferred.
At least 3 - 5 years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
