Essential Job FunctionsAs assigned:
- Responsible for preparation and verification of bank deposit transactions.
- Prepare all invoices for payments and renders checks for payment.
- Submit invoices and oversee the collection of accounts receivable for contracts, rental properties, and respite services
- Assist with monthly billing and reconciliation, payroll, benefits and employee time tracking.
- Coordination of benefits and services for persons served in vocational programs.
- Ensures payments by verifying the accuracy of Medicaid coding and bill funders by inputting billing information to the database; initiating electronic transmissions.
- Resolves disputed claims by gathering, verifying, and providing additional information; following up on claims.
- Resolves discrepancies by examining and evaluating data; selecting corrective steps.
- Prepares monthly reports of billing by summarizing billings, adjustments, and revenues received.
- Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
- Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger.
- Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
- Verifies financial reports by running a performance analysis software program.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis and other duties as assigned.
- Represent Link Associates to internal and external stakeholders, persons served and the community in a professional manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of three (3) years related successful work experience.
- Prior experience with ADP Payroll and Dynamics 365 highly desired.
