We are seeking a full-time Event Sales Assistant who thrives on taking charge and driving results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. They will play a pivotal role in boosting sales, managing client relationships, and tackling last-minute challenges with confidence and creativity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Proactively engage with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored event solutions that align with our brand’s high standards. Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Sales and Proposal Development: Work closely with the company to create clear, compelling event proposals and quotes. Consistently pursue new business opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and the owner to ensure events are flawlessly executed from concept to completion. Be prepared to adapt to changes and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Support the Company: Assist the company in executing their vision for events and managing client relationships, ensuring all tasks are aligned with their direction while taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Independent Initiative: Take ownership of tasks and projects, driving them forward with minimal supervision, while regularly consulting with the owner to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all aspects of proposals, contracts, and event execution are handled with precision and care, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Work effectively in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift, maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach and being responsive to the company’s needs.

Qualifications:

  • A driven and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving sales goals and delivering outstanding results.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues confidently and effectively.
  • Posses a creative mindset and are capable of thinking outside the box to develop innovative event solutions that delight clients and meet business objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and social media platforms.
  • Resilient and thick-skinned, able to handle challenges and setbacks with grace, while maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborative yet independent, able to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative and working independently when needed.
  • Resourceful, with strong problem-solving abilities that allow anticipation and resolution of issues in the sales process.
  • Brings previous experience in sales, with a strong preference for those who have worked in the event or hospitality industry.
  • Offers a background in event planning, design, or other creative fields, which is highly beneficial for this role.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
