Job Description:

As a Freight Forwarder at Link Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of goods across borders domestically, efficiently and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating and managing shipments from origin to destination i.e. bookings, delivery orders, CAD’s etc.
• Liaising with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure smooth transit of goods. i.e. online track and trace
• Preparing and processing import and export documentation
• Negotiating freight rates and booking cargo with carriers
• Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during transit
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements
• Familiarity with IMO and IATA Hazardous regulations

Requirements:

• Fully working experience with CargoWise
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in import air/ocean and 3 years air/ocean export operations
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in excel and word
