Link Media Outdoor is Hiring an Administrative Sales Support Near Kansas, MO

LINK Media Outdoor, one of the fastest growing Out of Home media companies in the US, is looking for an Administrative Sales Support person to join its team in the Kansas City, MO market. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE: BOC), Link currently owns and operates billboards in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The Administrative Sales Support position is an ideal opportunity for high energy, success-oriented talent to join our team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and maintaining of sales contracts in our billboard software (Apparatix).
  • Accurately process all sales contracts in conjunction with Sales staff.
  • Create Apparatix work orders for vinyl installs as well as maintenance requests.
  • Work with all plant employees ensuring defined processes are followed.
  • Laison between Sales and Ops team to resolve any issues affecting customer ad copy.
  • Back up to Ops Manager when unavailable.
  • Ordering, tracking, and scheduling ad copy with vinyl vendors, Sales team, and Ops team.
  • Assist Sales team in monitoring quality of ad copy in the market.
  • Work closely with Sales team daily responding to their questions and/or customer questions to resolve issues.
  • Maintain customer ad copy posting schedule.
  • Assist in customer prospecting and research.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Answers phones for the office. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Supports their markets by creating, copying, sending, and maintaining proposals and contract requests to potential/existing customers.
  • Good with follow up and detail work.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Able to channel paperwork between vendors and the company.
  • Occasionally schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities for all members of the department.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma.
  • Two to three years of administrative/secretarial experience
  • Sales team support experience
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
