Supervisory Responsibilities
- None.
- Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
- Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of products.
- Arranges for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
- Assists customers picking up materials, acquires signatures, and processes documents.
- Manages daily flow of products by modifying storage space assignments.
- Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
- Manually assembles, repacks, or restacks pallets of product as needed.
- Identifies any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifies the supervisor.
- Safely operates forklift as needed.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Ensures work space is clean, and free of debris and safety hazards.
- Delivers products to customers as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operators license.
- Forklift certification required within 2 weeks of hire date. (Paid by Company)
- At least one year of work experience in a warehouse required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
